A fost difuzat cu ani in urma un film pe TCM numit Johnny Guitar. Am citit undeva ca Joan Crawford si Sterling Hayden nu erau buni prieteni pe platoul de filmare. E adevărat?
Dacă răsfoiesti putin pe internet, despre viata lor personală, afli că însusi Sterling Hayden a declarat intr-un interviu că:
"I was at war on that film, during the daytime, with Joan Crawford (he recalled) and at night with my second wife."
Conflicte au existat si intre Joan Crawford si Mercedes McCambridge (rolul Emmei din Johnny Guitar ):
"Joan Crawford, who had bought the rights to the novel and sold it to Republic Pictures with the provision that she would star, initially wanted Claire Trevor to play the part of Emma and was jealous of the younger, competitive Mercedes McCambridge."
