Sweet November, Dying Young, Love Story, Untamed Heart, City of Angels, Splendor in the Grass, Dear John, Inventing the Abbotts, Atonement, Remember Me, astea ar fi gen A Walk to Remember şi The Notebook.Gen Twilight nu cred că e decât Blood and Chocolate, despre dragostea dintre o fată-vârcolac şi un om, filme cu vampiri sunt multe, dar nu apar ca personaje pozitive.Cruel Intentions reprezintă transpunerea modernă a romanului Legături periculoase de Choderlos de Laclos, a mai fost ecranizat-Dangerous Liaisons (1988), cu Glenn Close, Michelle Pfeiffer şi John Malkovich, Valmont (1989), cu Colin Firth. Dacă e vorba de filme cu adolescenţi atunci mai există The Rules of Attraction, New Best Friend, Gossip, O, Go, Heathers, Confessions of a Sorority Girl, Jawbreaker, Wild Things, The Craft, Mean Girls.
