FPS-ul nu se poate da ca si cum ar fi un obiect.
Uite cateva comenzi pentru consola ce ajuta la crestearea fps-ului:
hisound 0 – scade calitatea sunetului, foloseste procesor mai putin, creste fps
cl_minmodels 1 – vezi doar cate un model de jucator pentru fiecare echipa (adica doar un tip de T sau doar un tip de CT
m_filter 0 – foloseste procesorul daca e pe 1, asa ca pe 0 cresc fps-urile
cl_weather 0 – opreste ploaie, ninsoare si alte balarii de pe harta, cresc fps-urile
r_decals 2 si mp_decals 2 – astea 2 sunt legate una de alta, iar daca le setati asa n-o sa mai vedeti spray-urile, urmele de la gloante pe pereti, sangele pe pereti)
cl_shadows 0 – scoate umbrele, cresc un pic fps-urile
gl_picmip 1/2/3 – 0 este default, dar cu cat se creste valoarea, 3 fiind maxim. se va vedea din ce in ce mai prost, se pot vedea modificarile doar daca o setati cand intrati in cs 1.6 fara sa fi intrat pe vreun server inainte
gl_texturemode "GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_NEAREST" – asta e pentru mipmap
gl_ztrick 1 – cu comanda asta obiectele de la distanta pe care nu le mai puteti vedea s-ar putea sa flicare, dar cresc fps-urile)
cl_corpsestay 5 (cate secunde sa stea cadavrul unui jucator intins pe jos de cand l-ati omorat, daca dispare repede, cresc fps-urile)
hud_draw 0 – face tot hud-ul sa dispara, dar nu veti mai putea vedea anunturile adminilor
