De ce e Biblia mai grozava decat alte carti? Ce informatii nemaintalnite se gasesc in ea?
Pentru ca daca nu are nimic divin in ea,si la fel ca alte carti, atunci chiar nu vad de ce as crede ca a fost scrisa de Dumnezeu.

Biblia este unica pentru ca ofera cateva lucruri care nici o alta carte a omenirii nu o face si nici nu poate sa o faca. Pe langa asta este singura carte care a fost scrisa in cca 1500 de ani, a oferit dovezi autentice ca existenta orasul UR, de care pana de curand s-au indoit de existenta lui toti "marii" oameni de stiinta. Indrumari practice si utile de viata cu toate ca nu are acest scop dar ne ofera si dovada existentei altor lumi locuite in univers, singura dovada autentica de altfel in acest sens. Totusi unicitatea ei consta in descoperirea celui care a creiat universul, a omului si planul de salvare a acestuia din starea lui din ziua de astazi de muritor, bolnav, rau, egoist, nestiutor, mandru, prost, etc.

LIKE MOST AUTHORS, I receive tons of e-mail. Every now and again I receive a query, normally from a Christian believer, that I find completely puzzling. What is puzzling is my correspondent’s puzzlement. Many people simply can’t understand why I would teach the Bible in a university setting if I don’t believe in the Bible.

I find this puzzling because I am so accustomed to the life of the university, where professors teach all kinds of things they don’t "believe in." In most major universities, professors of classics teach the works of Plato, but the professors are not themselves necessarily Platonists, and professors in political science teach the writings of Karl Marx, but they do not have to be Marxists. So too English professors teach great literature even though they themselves are not practicing novelists or poets, and criminologists teach the history of crime, but they aren’t mass murderers.

Why should it be different with the Bible? I teach the Bible not because I am personally a believer in the Bible but because, like all these other topics, it is important. In fact, it is unusually important. One could easily argue that the Bible is the most important book in the history of Western civilization. What other book comes even close in terms of its historical, social, and cultural significance? Who wouldn’t want to know more about a book that has transformed millions of lives and affected entire civilizations? It is important not only for believers. Far from it. It is important for all of us—at least for all of us interested in human history, society, and culture.

One could argue as well that Jesus is the most important person in the history of the West, looked at from a historical, social, or cultural perspective, quite apart from his religious significance. And so of course the earliest sources of information we have about him, the New Testament Gospels, are supremely important. And not just the Gospels, but all the books of the New Testament." Inafară de cele 10 porunci, despre care Moise spune că au fost scrise in piatră direct de Dumnezeu restul a fost scris de oameni care au avut convingerea(şi noi creştinii îi credem) că Dumnezeu, creatorul universului le-a vorbit şi le-a cerut să scrie mesajul pe care l+au primit.Au fost oameni din diverse epoci, din pături sociale diverse, au folosit stiluri literare diferite, având un limbaj specific epocii în care au trăit.Totuşi există o unitate uimitoare între cărţile ei.Informaţiile importante existente în ea se referă la întrebări esenţiale- de ce au fost creaţi oamenii, cum pot avea o relaţie bună cu creatorul lor, ce gândeşte El despre ei, care e scopul vieţii, ce urmează după moarte după ce principii e bine să-ţi gidezi viaţa, etc.Nimic nu te fortifică mai mult interior decât s-o citeşti conversând pe marginea ei cu Dumnezeu. Înţelegi cine eşti, cât eşti de iubit, ce poţi îndrepta în caracter, piveşti viitorul cu încredere.

Pai nu a fost scrisa de Dumnezeu.

Daca era scrie cu materie neagra sau ceva "mistic" care nu era de pe Pamant as mai fi crezut ca e ceva divin sau mai stiu eu ce, dar asa ramane o carte ca alte carti. Scrisa de oameni care sunt cunoscuti cel mai bine pentru faptul ca mint de rup apele. Dar ce pretentii la religiosi, ma mir ca ei nu cred si la varste mai mari in Mos Cracila

Biblia nu a fost scrisa de Dumneze, a fost inspirata de el si a fost scrisa de oamenii alesi de El. Nu e o carte ca oricare alta. Raspunde la multe intrebari pe care ni le punem si ne dezvaluie lucruri pe care fara ajutorul ei nu le-am fi putut cunoaste. Pot sa zic asta pentru ca am citit-o.

Un lucru pe care celelalte carti (Coran, Torah etc.) nu il au dar, il regasim in biblie este factorul profetic. Profetiile biblice tind sa se adevereasca.
