1. Are you able to open CD using Windows Explorer?
2. Does it happen only with a particular CD or with all CD’s?
3. Since when are you facing this issue?
4. Were there any changes made prior to this issue?
5. Have you updated your system with the latest updates released by Microsoft?
Step 1:
Remove the traces of.Net framework from your computer and then install.Net framework components through Windows Update or by a standalone package and then check if you come across the issue.
