Un avion pe o cursa de 2 ore consuma cam 1, 8 tone de kerosen numai la decolare pentru ca la 2 ore de zbor cu acest tip de avion se parcurg in jur de 1500 de km si se consuma in jur de 9 tone de kerosen, iar la un zbor de 2000 km de la Bucuresti la Londra, zbor care dureaza 3 ore si 20 de minute cu aproximatie consumul de combustibil va fi de 2, 4 tone de kerosen la decolare iar in total se consuma cam 13, 5 tone, 130 l/ pasager.
