Salutare TPU.De ceva timp incerc sa imi îmbunătățesc cunostiintele de Limba Engleza prin traduceri.Totusi am cateva texte care imi dau batai de cap și nu stiu cum le-as putea traduce corect.

1. I-am pus această intrebare de câteva ori,
dar nu m-a auzit fiindcă citea ziarul.
2. Mi-am amintit de unde îl cunosc pe acest
om: am împărţit camera cu el când eram
studenţi. Mereu deschidea fereastra,
indiferent cât de frig era afară!
3. El dormea dus, când fu trezit de un
zgomot. Coborî scările să vadă ce se
întâmplă. A înțeles că ceva nu este în regulă
deoarece câinele lătra furios.

Bună. Din nefericire orice traducere necesită un context mai larg ca să ajute la coerență. În orice caz, ai aici un început:

1. I had asked him the same question several times, but he was reading the papers and couldn't hear me.
2. I remembered from where I knew this person: we have been roommates in college. He used to open the window no matter how cold it was outside.
3. He was in deep sleep when he was suddenly awakened by a sound. He went down the stairs to see what was happening. Seeing how aggressively the dog was barking, she immediately realized that something was off.

De aceea trebuie context mai larg ca sa asigure coerența. Altfel nu prea ai motive să alegi o traducere sau alta; și sunt foarte multe traduceri posibile. După cum ai și demonstrat.

Incearca sa iti dai seama de ce iti dadeau batai de cap aceste fraze si ce poti imbunatati. Traducerile nu sunt intotdeauna mot a mot.

2.I've remembered from where I know this human: I've shared the room with him when we were students. He always opened the window, no matter how cold it was outside.

3. ( Nu stiu sa traduc asta exact in forma ei originala, dar o pot reformula in alte cuvinte cu acelasi inteles ca originalul )
